In redeveloping the third and fourth floor of the Lower School, Léman Manhattan Preparatory School saw the opportunity to design a defined Center for Early Childhood Education (CECE). The long-term goal of this project was to reimagine the spaces that will be associated with the early learning grades and create a cohesive visual language for the new CECE.
Eleven of Eleven worked to integrate Léman’s nautical theme into the learning spaces with custom ceiling banners reminiscent of ocean waves and a custom boat play structure. In addition to developing the early learning classrooms, we designed a special Parent Center, renovated the hallways and offices, and created a set of custom child-size tables and easels for the school.
