Eleven of Eleven Architecture is a woman-owned firm based in New York City, led by Carol Gretter and established in 2008.  We provide award-winning design for our educational, commercial, hospitality, and residential clients.  Our services include innovative planning, programming, and architecture.

Eleven of Eleven is dedicated to client-centered design.

The greater the involvement of the clients, stakeholders and users, the richer the outcome.  Eleven of Eleven collaborates with our clients in the design-thinking process to create an engaging vision for their success. Our clients set ambitious goals and priorities for their projects.  We exceed their expectations by identifying opportunities and designing solutions.  Through listening, learning, and responding we build environments perfectly fit to our clients.

Eleven of Eleven is committed to excellence.

Excellence in service.  Excellence in aesthetics.  Excellence in function.  Eleven of Eleven has been recognized for this commitment to excellence through publications, speaking engagements and awards, but most importantly through long-lasting client relationships. We achieve excellence through observing, empathizing and understanding, researching and brainstorming, designing, prototyping, testing and documenting on every project.

Eleven of Eleven creates spaces where people want to spend their time.

We value daylight, fresh air, compelling colors, fun textures, thoughtful materials, meaningful views and integrated safety, and we design buildings that pursue those values.  Our buildings and spaces are good for the environment and the people that use them.
